Spark Dealer Group to Acquire Louisville Outdoor Turf Products, Marking Entry into Kentucky and the Ohio Valley

Acquisition of one of the region’s largest outdoor power equipment dealers extends Spark’s platform beyond the Southeast; transaction expected to close in the third quarter of 2026

LOUISVILLE, Ky., Aug. 31, 2026 — Spark OPE Ventures, operating as Spark Dealer Group (“Spark”), an operator of outdoor power equipment dealerships backed by permanent capital, today announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Louisville Outdoor Turf Products (“LOTP”), one of the largest outdoor power equipment dealers serving Louisville and the surrounding region. The transaction is expected to close during the third quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions.

Founded and led by Stacey and Ryan English, LOTP has grown into one of the region’s largest and most trusted destinations for homeowners, landscape professionals, and commercial turf operators. Across its two locations, the English family built a business defined by deep product expertise, an exceptional service department, and a reputation for standing behind every unit that leaves the lot. That reputation, earned over years of consistent, unglamorous execution, is precisely what attracted Spark.

“Stacey and Ryan have done a fantastic job building LOTP into what it is today,” said Jonathan Salinas, Chief Executive Officer of Spark OPE Ventures. “What sets this business apart is its extraordinary standard of customer service, the depth of its vendor relationships, and a genuine sense of pride in the community it serves. Above all, Stacey and Ryan have built an exceptional team, one that will continue to take care of customers in the same extraordinary way for years to come.”

The acquisition marks Spark’s entry into Kentucky and the broader Ohio Valley, extending the platform beyond its Southeastern footprint. LOTP’s two locations provide a natural base from which Spark intends to grow in the region. Upon close, Spark will operate 22 dealership locations across four states.

“When Stacey and I started Louisville Outdoor Turf Products, we never imagined what it would become. Looking back, we're incredibly grateful to the employees, the customers who trusted us from the beginning, and the vendor partners who believed in us along the way. We chose Spark because they share our belief that great businesses are built by great people. We have complete confidence they'll continue investing in our team, serving our customers with the same commitment, and building on the legacy we've created together,” added Ryan English, Co-Founder and Owner of Louisville Outdoor Turf Products.

“Louisville Outdoor Turf Products has always been about people, our employees, our customers and the relationships we've built throughout the industry. As we considered the future of the company, finding a partner who shared those values was our highest priority. We believe Spark will build on that foundation while continuing to invest in the people and communities that made our success possible,” said Stacey English, Co-

Founder and Owner of Louisville Outdoor Turf Products.

Following closing, the business will continue to operate under the Louisville Outdoor Turf Products and Shelbyville Outdoor Turf Products names, with the same customer service customers rely on today.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
